XFCE 4.14, Panel 4.14.3-1 No Alpha Feature.

I'm currently running Xubuntu 20.04.  It has XFCE 4.14, with the Panel 4.14.3-1.  I don't like how Panel Preferences works.  I can not make the Panel completely transparent.  If I do the icons on it disappear with it.  I looked back on my old Linux Mint 18.3 XFCE install.  It is running XFCE 4.12 and Panel 4.12.  The Panel has an Alpha feature that doesn't seem to be apart of XFCE 4.14 Panel.  I liked using the Alpha feature to make the Panel completely transparent and yet I could still see my icons.

Panel transparency has changed in 4.14. Have a read through https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/ … rent-panel

One observation about the how-to link ToZ posted. In step 3 I had to select a colour before the slider would work. It was "greyed out" before that. Doesn't matter what colour but something had to be selected.

@ToZ
@eriefisher

After creating my post I accidentally found that link in this post.  https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=55239#p55239

I don't understand why they changed that.  It doesn't seem to be as user friendly.  Your probably going to get, or have gotten a lot of questions about it, because it isn't where most people would naturally think to look.
