20.04 DVDs CDs

I did a clean reinstall to 20.04 and now no DVD or Cd is recognized or mounted. HO Omni 200. Worked fine in 18.04. What should I try?

Make sure you have the gvfs packages installed then Thunar>>Edit>>Preferences>>Advanced Tab and check "Enable Volume Management". Once enabled you can click on "Configure" and set up your preferred actions.

Thank you, I did that when I installed 20.04. I tried various fixes all day with no luck.Anything else I can try? The drive and CDs, DVDs are spinning up OK and worked fine until the upgrade.

Is the optical drive shown in the output of inxi -d ?
