I'm using engrampa, thunar and thunar-archive-plugin.
-h, --extract-here
Extract archives using the archive name as destination folder and quit the program
This is from manpage of engrampa however, it doesn't work this way, when i manually extract via terminal all it does is just extracting to dir.
I tried file-roller, engrampa, xarchiver, ark(this one doesn't even work).
engrampa -h test.zip --force "$@"
I ran this command as well, which is exactly what the plugin does, still no luck.
I was wondering, doesn't even matter which archive manager it is, any of you guys managed to get that feature working?
Thunar 1.8.15-1
Engrampa 1.24.0-1
Thunar archive plugin 0.4.0-3
Edit: I just realised it works when there are multiple stuff in the archive. If there is only 1 folder or just 1 file it extracts to the same dir. I'm silly it works.

I use Xarchiver by default. The thunar plugin works fine. Create archive, extract to and extract here all work.
But it's all right, when you're all in pain and you feel the rain come down
It's alright, when you find your way, then you see it disappear
It's alright....

It's apparently a bug, people using the exact same setup and exact same OS have extract here functioning normally.
I make so many modifications i don't have a clue where to look. I tried dolphin+ark and i have the same issue with that as well.
