Disable drag-and-drop all around?

Hi.
Drag and  drop does not work for me. I don't use it, except only accidentally.
Any way to go around disabling it system wide, or at least in Thunar?

Found this: https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/garcon/-/issues/10  sorta similar.

Using XFCE on debian.

Thank you.

Hello and welcome.

Does changing Settings Manager > Mouse and Touchpad > Behavior > Drag and Drop Threshold to a large value help? It will take a much longer drag to initiate the functionality.

It does. But for someone who likes things nailed down and is a drag-accident prone,
it would be so nice to have.

ToZ thanks again for help.

Actually all gui desktop window navigation/management sucks across all platforms.

At least XFCE makes this atrocious "windows style gui" experience fast and simple.

and consistent, and reliable!

Gonna propose some new stuff in another post sometime.

XFCE is awesome.
