Difference in settings seen locally or remotely!?

Hello All,

I launch xfce-power-management-settings locally or remotely (ssh -Y) and found a difference on the parameter "On critical battery power"

local : set to "Mettre en veille prolongée" (in english "suspend")
and 2 other options : "Arrêter" ("Stop") and "Demander" ("Ask")

remote : set to "Do nothing" (directly in english)
and 1 other option "Ask"

So I have 2 questions :
1) Why the parameters are different?
2) Why the language is different (french locally and english remotely)

Thanks in advance.

Re: Difference in settings seen locally or remotely!?

As for #1, are you logging in as the same user? From both the local login and the ssh login, can you run the following commands:

whoami
ps -ef | grep power-manager
xfconf-query -c xfce4-power-manager -lv
