Any way to have a drawer similar to budgie desktop?

Is there any way, via a third party application or otherwise, to have a drawer that pops out of the side of the screen similar to the Budgie desktop?
This picture shows what I am referring to.

I don't believe the Raven panel has been ported to any other DEs. You could create a wide sidebar by creating a new panel, setting it auto-hide and the largest width value, but you would only be able to add Xfce plugins to that panel. It wouldn't be the same thing though.
