icons in taskbar

Hello,

coming from kde, I would like to have this feature also with xfce :-)

when I have several apps launched on *different* workspaces, I want to have all they shortcut/icons on the taskbar - else I have to search them on the very small workspace icons

In "panel preferences", tab "items", edit properties of "window buttons":
in "filtering" section (below) you can check first option: "show windows from all workspaces or viewports"
then it's a matter of adjusting the appearance of the buttons...

Is not exactly what you want but it might help...
