Missing icon in panel / task switcher for urxvt

Hi, I'm having a similar issue to this user:

Basically I can see the icon for my terminal (rxvt) when I use the application launcher, or if a setup a launcher on the panel, but whenever I launch it, I get a generic Icon. This affects both the panel and the alt-tab task switcher. Here's a screenshot of the launcher next to a launched terminal

In the thread I posted they recomend installing a patched version of rxvt (rxvt-unicode-patched) but I'm using debian 10 stable and can't find it in the repositories. Besides, I would prefer to fix the issue in XFCE.
