Had an issue in Mint recently that was very similar. In that case, having the Plank dock running was the cause.
The fix was shown in this post: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic. … 9#p1878539
Settings > Window Manager Tweaks > Compositor tab > uncheck "Show shadows under dock windows"

Thank you. I have tried this out in MX Linux.
But without success. This setting has no effect:

(- zeige Schatten unter Dockfenstern)

It should be UNchecked as the image showed in my link. I don't know if a log out/log in will be necessary after changing that.
But I'm suspecting yours was unchecked to begin with, so this is probably not the right fix.

Thank you.
Yes I have tried with uncheck and log me out and log me in.
Has not solved the problem.

Do you have Plank or any other dock running? It sure looks similar to the Mint issue.

I don't know.
Is devilspie a dock?
Is VBlank a dock?
Is Xfwm a dock?
Is the "gtk3-nocsd package" a dock?
When I change the theme to Adwaita I have even more such lines:

It almost looks like a repeating image. Are you using an image as your panel background?

Then the image itself has a border. Re-check the image and remove it.
