ristretto 0.10.0 (debian)

Hello.

Ristretto scans ALL files in a directory when opening one file (image).
There can be several thousand files in one directory. I know this is bad, but I cannot influence users.
How to prevent ristretto from scanning ALL files?

Re: ristretto 0.10.0 (debian)

Hello and welcome.

That would be a functional redesign of the application. You could start with petitioning the developers to see if they will consider making a change/addition? https://gitlab.xfce.org/apps/ristretto/-/issues
