Back in Xubuntu 18.04 it was possible to run two separate (independent) Xfce4 sessions on two monitors. This broke in 18.10 and onward, apparently due to adopting GTK3+. Since then, I've had to resort to tying the screens together as one large desktop. There were some rumblings that GTK was going to add back in support for multiple monitors so that separate panels and window managers could be run on each. Has anyone verified that this is once again possible, and if so, are there any notes on how best to re-implement this? Thanks.
