thunar: change the rights of a folder and all its subfolders and files

I want to change the rights of my folder, subfolders and files from "read only" into "read and write".

But this seems not to work. When I change the right of a folder, then the right of the file in this folder does not change its right.

My setting in thnar is:
advanced tab: folderrights -> apply to folder and content.

Why does the file not change its rights. What do I miss? Thank you.

Looks like a bug. If you leave the setting at "Ask every time", it works, but if you change it to "Apply to folder and content" it doesn't. You should create a bug report.
