Thunar hangs when I click on "eject" icon of removable devices

When I try to safely remove a removable device, Thunar hangs for 1 or 2 minutes. It happens also when I select Unmount or Eject from the right-click menu.
If I try these commands from terminal:

	udisksctl unmount --block-device /dev/sdb
	udisksctl power-off --block-device /dev/sdb

the process is instantaneous.

Also with Nautilus or Dolphin I have no problem unmounting pendrives.

Caja insetad gives to me the same problem as Thunar.

Any Idea ?

Thank you

(My Xfce version is 4.14. Thunar is 1.8.15)

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Does Thunar generate any log output? Either check ~/.xsession-errors or run

thunar -q; thunar

in a terminal window.

No, no output. Neither if I do

thunar -q; thunar

or

cat ~/.xsession-errors | grep thunar

Just to be sure, try also:

cat ~/.xsession-errors | grep --ignore-case thunar

What's your distro?

The distro was UBUNTU with XFCE added using apt-get, but I solved this and other problems reinstalling directly XUBUNTU.
