Incorrect display when adjusting panel items

Hi,
When adjusting the item list for the panel the descriptions are incorrect and often from the item above.  This makes it very difficult to adjust (e.g. add, move) items here.  I noticed this in 4.12 and now I'm trying 4.14 and the problem remains.

Is anybody else seeing this problem ?  And is there a solution ?

Note that the icons might give a clue but not the labels.

That's weird. I'm on xfce4-panel 4.14.4 but I've never, ever seen this situation, and I've been using it for years, plus I read the forum very often...

Mine looks like this:

No incorrect descriptions. Let's see if someone more knowledgeable chime in!

I've never seen this either, but there is a long standing bug report for this issue.
