Howdy from Tucson, AZ

I was born in Tucson Nov 17,1952. Left too young to remember. Lived most of my life in Texas.  Retired back in Tucson Dec 2016.  Became a FOSS fan working for a small company in Garland, TX which had limited resources.  I mean "Free" as in "no or little money"   I fired Microsoft and Apple when a nephew offered to build me a PC with Linux Mint and have not looked back!  I have been a MX Linux guy for about 3 days now.  I was using Linux Mint 18.3 before.  So far the trip has been a joy with but a few pains.

The difference between theory and practice:  In theory they are the same thing.

Awesome! Glad to have you with us! Native Texan here! Howdy neighbor! I also use MX Linux! I have been using MX for about 4 years now and I have distro hopped a lot throughout the years and then I discovered MX and haven't hopped since! I was a long time Mint user for a while as well. It's a fine distro! Merry Christmas from East Texas!
