[Solved] Doubts with gtk version used in icons and themes

Hi everyone, i'm a little bit confused when i choose a gtk3 theme in appearance settings and then neofetch says is a gtk2 theme, this only happens with xfce and is supposed that gtk3 are fully integrated into the last xfce version, currenty 4.16, so my question is if everything is fine or i'm missing some configuration to show up gtk3 themes with the graphical appearance settings manager.

Re: [Solved] Doubts with gtk version used in icons and themes

Hello and welcome.

Which theme are you using and what exactly does neofetch say? Perhaps neofetch is just reporting that the theme you are using supports gtk2 and gtk3 (it contains both gtk-2.0 and gtk-3.x folders).

Re: [Solved] Doubts with gtk version used in icons and themes

Every theme, for example, i install Sweet gtk3 theme, i choose it in the appearance settings and neofetch says Sweet (gtk2), it works if i edit user conf files but if i select another theme the same thing happens, every theme changed in the appearance settings manager, neofetch says is a gtk2 theme.

PD: Solved, i deleted everything in .config/gtk-2.0 gtk-3.0 and xfce4 user folders, then i select the themes and neofetch says gtk2/3
