I'm using xfce and have recently installed version 4.16. I use sardi icons from arco linux, but after the new install of xfce some of the sardi icons have been replaced by the new xfce 4.16 icons that can be seen here on the xfce page https://www.xfce.org/about/news/?post=1608595200. How can I change the xfce icons to the sardi icons that I want? I have tried in settings>appearance, but the new xfce icons always remain whatever icon set I choose.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I guess this post may help:
add Faenza icons to the new icon resource names, atlthough you have to adapt the script to change your sardi icons.

Thank you very much for the reply. I was hoping it would be a simple case of changing a config file! I'll give the script a try.

The script from this post on the Arch Linux forums works a treat. I'm marking this thread as solved. Thank you, bernd_b, for your help
