Hi,
Extremely new to XFCE. Just starting to run the desktop now on Linux RH7. For some reason, all Gtk Entry fields are much taller than the height of the text in the field. The cursor in the field is the same height as the entry field. I know other people running XFCE and they don't see this. I'm guessing I have something somewhere that is somehow changing the size of the entry widget but I can't find it. All the themes I try have the entry field too tall like this.
I'm running XFCE4.
I haven't figured out how to post a picture yet. Sorry.
Thanks for any help.

Hello and welcome.
Which version of Xfce are you running?
Which appearance theme are you using?
To post a picture, upload it to a service like imgur or imgbb, and post back the link to the image.

4.12 according to xfce4-about.
Which appearance theme are you using?
I'm running with Style BlackMATE and Icons GNOME. But I tried all the Styles and Icons values under Appearances.

Thanks, I'll work on that so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

Update: I changed my font from a24.pcf (the default when I originally started XFCE) to Sans and the entry widgets are fixed.
Hope this helps some other newbie.
ToZ, thank you for your help.
