Reset XFCE4 config

After playing around with xconf-query and  xfce4-panel my panel was killed and i can't start it again.
(Popup with error message ,,DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.xfce.Panel was not provided by any .service files'',
btw a popup windows where you cant copy the message really sucks)

I removed the whole ~/.config/xfce4 folder made a relogin (even a reboot) ,
but surprisingly it does not help, are there really any configuration outside of this folder !?

Any idea how to reset the configuration ?

thx for any help / ideas

Re: Reset XFCE4 config

Solution found:

rm -Rf ~/.config/xfce4
rm -Rf ~/.cache/sessions/xfce4*

then login.

Are you maybe mixing user and root commands? xfce4-panel/xfconf are user-level processes and if executed with root privileges will fail to connect via dbus.
