Im pretty new to most of this and only recently got everything running, but when I use xfce my headphone jack on my chromebook doesnt seem to work at all, im not sure how to fix this. Its not an issue with the chromebook itself, because it works on chrome os, i tried using pulseaudio but it didnt show anything.

Hello and welcome.
Audio and audio configuration/setup is related more to the distro than Xfce itself (Xfce does not manage audio devices - it just uses them if they exist). If you don't get a response here, you may wish ask at your distro's forums.

Hi shantik65,
If you have curl installed, run this command and post the URL it'll give to get a look at your sound setup:
curl https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/raw/master/src/utils/pa-info?inline=false | bash | nc termbin.com 9999
