In reading the thread "Desktop settings issue [SOLVED] by k-3.14" running the command "xfdesktop-settings" was suggested. I thought that might apply to another issue I am having so I tried it. Output follows:
mneme:~> xfdesktop-settings
(xfdesktop-settings:9923): Gtk-WARNING **: 19:40:35.843: Content added to the action area of a dialog using header bars
(xfdesktop-settings:9923): Gtk-WARNING **: 19:40:35.843: Content added to the action area of a dialog using header bars
(xfdesktop-settings:9923): GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **: 19:40:35.944: remote volume monitor with dbus name org.gtk.vfs.UDisks2VolumeMonitor is not supported
mneme:~>
I get similar error from the power manager independently of whether that was started or not. System is FreeBSD 13.0. I see no errors using XFCE other than the cut/paste noted in another thread.
