[SOLVED]XFCE desktop text open with thunar

Hi!

So far, opening the txt files on desktop has been opened by the mousepad application. It's okay. But, if I now click on a text file, the thunar will open and the text file inside! WTF?!

What happened? And how can I fix it?

Arch Linux + Xfce 4.16 (Everything is the latest!)

Hello and welcome.

This was an intentional change as discussed here and released in the latest version of thunar. I've just created a bug report about this unintended? consequence to xfdesktop.

Fixed now and released in 4.16.8 / 4.17.3 ...

Updated Thunar on Arch (4.16.8), and fixed the bug!
