xfburn stream recording

I don't like how it is called.
I would have disabled it, if I knew its meaning.
I blame the name.
You should change things.

Re: xfburn stream recording

Wat? To my knowledge "stream recording" is a feature of recorder, not that Xfburn invented it. In any case, posting it like this on user forums is plain useless. Feature requests go to Xfce bugzilla. Meanwhile, this is open source software, feel free to rename or disable it as you please.

You should change attitude.

Re: xfburn stream recording

Thanks for pointing out that it is a common term. My short attempt to get an answer for this assumption went nowhere.

I will stick to my attitude.
I don't want to change, one line in code from
"stream recorder" to "You get more or less what you intend to write, in exchange for speedup. Make sure to set write speed to 'auto' 2x and 4x may cap your speed below 6MB" and some dev accepting it.
I want you , who care, to choose the right line for that purpose. Or decide to stick with it. You already pointed out a good reason to do so.

Have a nice day.
