No hibernate on SSD? (SOLVED)

Hi everyone.

So I've upgraded my laptop's HDD to an SSD. I've copied my Debian installation as is to the new disk. Everything is working correctly, however I've noticed that the option to hibernate the system is gone. Considering I've changed the hard-drive, I imagine that there is no hibernate option for an SSD. Is this the case or is there something I missing? Granted that I've never used hibernation in my life, but I'm curious to know why this is happening, and I haven't found a certain answer online

I forgot to mention (because I didn't connect the dots) that I had migrated my swap partition to the SSD. The problem was that my resume file was pointing at my old swap partition, which is still active as a partition (so it exists on my setup) but not used as such in /etc/fstab.

So /etc/fstab was pointing at my new swap, but /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume was pointing at my old swap. I changed the UUID in that /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume file and then updated initramfs. That solved the problem.
