What is the zoneinfo database? (re. clock setting)

Timezone
Allows you to set a custom timezone for the clock by entering the name of a file in the zoneinfo database. If left blank, the clock uses the localtime.

Currently my clock is set manually, not from the Internet.

Just regular timezones. The files should be installed in /usr/share/zoneinfo. The repository package would be called something like "tzdata".
