Panel transparency issue Xfce 4.16

HI

I just upgraded from Xubuntu 20.10 to 21.04 (Xfce 4.16) and I have an issue with panel transparency. I had a second panel in Deskbar mode that had the Clock plugin with a custom display and font and 2 genmon plugins. After reboot the 2nd panel didn't display properly - the Clock plugin didn't acknowledge the custom font setting and the text output of the genmon plugins were truncated and off centre to the point of being half off the screen.

After a bit of playing around with the settings to see if I could fix it and restore it to the way it was prior to upgrading (I couldn't), I noticed that when setting the panel to be transparent (that is via the solid color setting, not the Enter, Leave opacity) if I dragged the transparent panel around the screen the dots of the panel handle would leave a trail of artifacts behind on the screen.

What video card do you have and what driver are you using?

See if one of the other vblank modes work better.
