xfdesktop --menu error

Hi,
Whenever i right click on my desktop it open up xfce4-applications-menu (with run program and all application categories, etc.) instead of the usual xfdesktop --menu(with create launcher and desktop settings, etc.). Also, even if run xfdesktop --menu in a terminal window it opens up xfce4-applications-menu wherever my cursor is.
(I run MX linux 19.4 with kernal version 4.19.0-16-amd64 if it helps)

Go to Settings Manager > Desktop > Icons tab. Change the "Icon Type" settings from "Minimized application icons" to File/launcher icons. This will restore the default desktop setup, icons and menus.

THANK YOU very much sir! I was really worried as i was playing around with xfconf-query for xfdesktop and i thought i broke something?
