Changing font Hinting doesn't update font (Mint 20.2)

Hello,

First, thanks for the hard work, still using XFCE since years without troubles (depicts some keyboard shortcut not working, but I don't know how to reproduce the problem).

Anyway, I have a bug, here how to reproduce:

* Go to Appearance/Fonts
* Change Hinting (to any value).
* Font rendering is not updated (the font rendering used in UI windows doesn't change).

I have to go tick "Custom DPI settings" and change the DPI value. As soon as I change the DPI value (by clicking on + or -), the font is updated.

Same problem with "Enable anti-aliasing" or "Sub-pixel order". Changing them doesn't update font rendering.

Keep the good work!

Hmmm. I guess this would be the place to create a bug report.
