Hi,
i have a normal fullhd monitor that i use with hdmi. The computer is also connected to my 4k tv. When i want to use both and i want to mirror the output so that i see the same on both i have to change the resolution for the tv from 4096x2160 to 1920x1080 manually every time. How can i use this as default so that i have the same resolution for both devices?
there a profile settings but i can't use it because its all grey and inactive.
to i need a xrandr script here? i used such a solution on xubuntu 18.04 but i don't think i have a backup of the script.

is the TV really 4096x2160 or is it 3840x2160? if it has the wider aspect ratio, that could be upsetting display matching.

i can use both in the display settings for the tv. there is no difference. the problem is not the resolution, the problem is the fact that i have to to change the settings every time i turn on the tv.
how can i create a profile? why is that disabled?

i don't know why but now it works. the tv is 2k now.
i have my own folder with wallpapers for the desktop. when the tv is on the default wallpaper folder is used. changing the folder will not be saved.
