Hello,
Looking to get a direction on changing my desktop changer from the 3 large blocks to the 3 stacked small blocks?
I'm running LinuxMint 17.3(XFCE 4.12 from Xubuntu) and due to Mint adopting Redhat's 'systemd' init **, I am not willing to upgrade to new version...
However, in Mint 19, 20...etc the Desktop changer can be configured to a tiny 3 vertical stack for the changer & prefer that to the 3 large horizontal blocks.
Was this unique, coded by Mint or could I update Xfce to get this feature?
Also, what would prevent me from upgrading to 4.16 Xfce to get additional features?
** systemd is 2 million lines of code that has never been audited,
** recently found to have a gaping root level security hole https://www.zdnet.com/article/nasty-lin … g-revealed
** and is a memory hog worse than Windoze XP...

Hello and welcome.

Right-click the workspace changer and select Properties. In there, you can change the number of rows. If you set it to 3 (if panel is horizontal) or 1 (if panel is vertical/deskbar), it should be stacked. This should work for Xfce version 4.12 and above.
