I don't know what I did, but something happened, and each time I open a terminal it now gives me an error:
Failed to execute child process "": Failed to execve: No such file or directory
The terminal window opens, but there is no username@hostname, no anything. Only this white cursor. I can't move it, I can't type, and I can't execute any commands.
I was messing in /home/ directory before this began happening, so whatever is broke, it is most likely there.
How do I fix it? I can install other terminal emulator, but what did happen to this one?
OS: Arch Linux
DE: xfce 4.16
Terminal version: 0.8.10

For that matter, how do I actually install any other terminal emulator to access a command line? I think I can access it command line through VScode built-in terminal, haha. Not sure if it has all the same functionality, tho.

If bash is your shell, confirm the contents of the bash configuration files in your home directory. Try renaming ~/.bash_profile and ~/.bashrc and logging out and back in again.

The problem was fixed. The error was caused due to me accidentally checking a "Run a custom command instead of my shell" in Terminal Preferences.
