XFCE4 Keyboard Layout Page Empty

Repeat of an issue I posted previously regarding XFCE4 4.14 installed on Linux From Scratch 10.0.

Recently installed XFCE4 4.16 (on Linux From Scratch 11.0) defaults to US keyboard layout. On trying to change to UK, discovered that the Layout section of Keyboard Settings was blank. The keyboard settings can be changed using 'setxkbmap gb' in the terminal, but cannot find a way to fix the graphical option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: XFCE4 Keyboard Layout Page Empty

In the GUI, there is an option to "Add" a keyboard layout. Are you saying that when you click add, the popup dialog is empty? If so, there should be another package that needs to be installed to provide those. In Arch, it is xkeyboard-config. Perhaps LFS has something similar?
