Blue light reduction?

Hi,

Does xfce have a built-in blue light reducer like redshift so the lights would shift to red in later parts of the day ? .

I've installed redshift but it would be nicer to have this built-in.

Thanks

No, a similar issue was closed as "Won't fix": https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-sett … note_30700

When I used Redshift (a bug with the amdgpu driver in my laptop made me stop using it), the integration with Xfce was fine.

Re: Blue light reduction?

i used to have a monitor that had this feature by means of color temperature.  it was a menu that had a wide enough range.  but i still had to change it manually.  it seems my laptop has no such feature, so i might have to try out redshift.  if it works by commands then i can automate it via cron to a program that calculates sun angle every twenty minutes.
