Copy a range of LibreOffice Calc and paste on a sheet of Google Sheet

A range in a sheet of a LibreOffice Calc file could be copied but could not be pasted on a sheet of Google Sheet opened in Chrome. I used to do this normally while I was using LibreOffice Calc and Chrome in Fedora (34) repositories.

It can be done alternatively by import LibreOffice Calc sheet into a new sheet of Google Sheet, copy a desired range of a new sheet and paste in a target sheet. It is not convenient. Is this the only one way?
