Thunar side pane not showing even if selected in configs

Hey,

So my previous post (about the xml config details) was actually aiming at solving a new issue.

For some reason, I've lost the side pane recently. I am unsure of what I might have done to have this happen. At any rate, I want it back.

So in the Thunar preference settings, both the Shortcut pane & the Tree pane are selected ("show icon emblems") with some icon sizes. I really haven't played with the configurations before that problem popped up. It's kind of annoying, as file navigation is now just a list of files & folder, and all useful shortcuts I had setup are not available....

So how can I troublehsoot this?

Basically a keyboard shortcut you can easily trigger by mistake, and it's kinda hard to know that's what happened.
