Blurry desktop icons and wallpaper

Distribution: Debian 11 bullseye (stable)
I'm using double scaling, my screen size is 2880x1620. In Appearance > Preferences > Window Scaling I chose 2x and since not all applications behaved properly with this setting I additionally put export GDK_SCALE=2 in .xsessionrc. I also added cursor size and scaling for QT applications like in the wiki.
Now everything works well enough, all items are displayed correctly, including icons and fonts. However, the desktop wallpaper looks blurry at all file formats and sizes, including 4k. Also, the icons on the desktop look blurry.

I found a similar problem on the internet, but it went unanswered.
