Grub Customizer

I am trying to use up my 1TB HDD before it dies on me.  I am adding a bunch of distros, but every new distro seems to add a new grub menu and grub is becoming a mess.  To confuse things further, I also use an SSD (with only Debian xfce), but the OEM menu and the grub menus are hideous!  Plus, there are leftover selections from Mint and a boot repair that added an Ubuntu entry.
I found out aout Grub Customizer, but it only seems to customize on THAT distro, not for the entire PC - especially if you keep adding distros.
Any advice?
