A lot of updates with Fedora

Hello,

I don't know if I'm in the right place to ask this question!

I recently moved (about 3 weeks) from Xubuntu to
Fedrora Xfce and I notice that there are a lot of updates with
Fedora, either everyday unlike Xubuntu.
Do we really have to update every day because it's a bit boring?

Hello,

I'm not a Fedora-User but i think the updates are so often because they build the git as upstream Packages.
Like Opensuse tumbleweed there a more often updates build from the gitlab.xfce.org than you will get from OpenSuse LEAP repository.

That is the only idea that i have about that.
But you don't need Update your System Every day, maybe you can do it every week or month.

On one of my laptops I have Fedora 29, on other pc F32, which are no longer supported and still works fine without updates. On my main pc I use F34 which I update every 2-3 weeks, I do it more out of routine than necessity. Fedora updates are more for the philosophy of the distro, not by necessity.
In avoiding problems and need to upgrade (mainly for the reason of bugs), I never install or upgrade to the latest version of the system. Fedora releases a new version every 6 months, in principle, for a few weeks there are a lot of bugs and you have to upgrade very often. That's why I always wait a few months before upgrading to the next version.
If you use XFCE, you probably have dnfdragora with its annoying dnfdragora-updater, you can easily uninstall dnfdragora-updater (without dependencies). Or better yet, install yumex (Yum Extender) and uninstall dnfdragora completely. Or if you don't need GUI, uninstall dnfdragora and use dnf.
