Can't change icon to a .desktop file

Hello, I just created a .desktop file, it only contains the string «Exec="thunar"». When I try to change the icon, I got this error:

J7xahWd.png

which more or less means "keys file does not begin with a group"

How can I solve?

How? Did you create it manually?

, it only contains the string «Exec="thunar"».

So the only content in this file is this string? The desktop spec calls for a specific file format.

Probably best to use "exo-desktop-item-edit" to create the desktop file - it will create the proper format.
