Left-clicking on URLs won't open a new tab or launch the browser.
Enabling Use middle mouse click to open URLs works but I'd like to have this functionality bound to the mouse left-click instead. Is something wrong with exo-open here?

Remember to edit the subject of your topic to include the [SOLVED] tag once you're satisfied with the answers or have found a solution (in which case, don't forget to share it as well), so that other members of the community can quickly refer to it and save their time. Pretty please!

is there a way to force these through a script i code? i want to add an option to the browser. i also hope the script gets control back when the browser exits so i can preserve some data and do cleanups at that time. obviously, the URL has to be passed to the script somehow (arg 1 makes sense).
