XFCE on FreeBSD needs more love!

I folks,

I recently moved to FreeBSD and of course I am using XFCE however it is not in good shape as in Linux.
I was just thinking that XFCE might be a first class citizen in the FreeBSD space but the XFCE Team should start showing more love over it; many linuxisms prevent XFCE to run as its best!

On the Linux side the stage is quite crowded with the biggest names actively working to make the life impossible to the small and independent projects like XFCE, on the BSD side this doesn't happen and might be the echo chamber to re-gain traction also on the Linux side, hence I warmly recommend to the XFCE guys to take seriously in consideration to rethink their strategy towards the others OSs in the open-source space.
