MX Linux 21 says "disk is full"

When I try to download an .iso file MX linux 21 says "disk is full". I tried downloading to the Downloads subdirectory and the Home partition and it showed the message.I opened gparted and it showed there was more than sufficient free space available. I would appreciate any help you can give me to solve this problem.

Could you please run the following commands from your terminal:

locate --limit=1 $HOME/Downloads ; df $HOME

…and post back their output?
