VNC into the Real Desktop (ie.: 0)

I have a laptop in a bit of a remote location.  I have been running Vinagre server on it so that I can vnc in.

It was working fine but I'd really like to be able to vnc into the real desktop (the one that is on the laptop screen).

So I installed Tigervnc.  Tiger starts but opens a virtual terminal (ie.: 5901) and I cannot get it to allow access to terminal 0.  Also, when I try to vnc into the 5901 terminal that tiger creates I just get the grey screen.

Any hints before I get too far down this rabbit hole?

Thanks,
JP.

Well, as Rosanne Rosannadana would say "Never Mind".

I found that I needed to also install "tigervnc-scraping-server".

So far working good.

Thanks anyways,
JP.
