Xubuntu 20.04, fully patched
I have the following keyboard mappings in Settings Manager -> Window Manager -> Keyboard
Workspace [1-8] Super+F[1-8] (note that F1 actually maps as F16)
Left workspace Super+Left
Right Workspace Super+Right
Move window to window [1-8] Super+Shift+F[1-8]
Move window to left workspace Super+Shift+Left
Move window to right workspace Super+Shift+Right
I also have focus follows mouse set.
All of this works perfectly and has for years. However, I have a scanning program called VueScan and just noticed that when that window is quiet, everything works as expected. However, when it is in the process of actively scanning and the mouse is over the Vuescan window, then pressing Super+Left or Super+Right to go to the adjacent desktop, will also drag along the VueScan window! It is 100% repeatable. When the scan operation finishes then the VueScan window goes back to acting normally.
Somehow, something is getting "locked" during scanning. This may be a problem with VueScan rather than Xfce, but I need to get a handle on what may be happening so I know where to file a bug report. I realize this is a very obscure question, but any thoughts or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

One additional piece of information. I just further discovered that if I initiate a scan, the scanner does some initializing before starting the scan. If I move to a different desktop before the actual scanning start, the VueScan window will then jump to the desktop with the cursor as soon as scanning begins! More and more I'm thinking that it is the VueScan process that is responsible. But why?
