I'm running Manjaro.
After switching out one of my monitors, I want to create a display profile called "both".
Problem is, I had a display profile called "both" before switching. And now I can't delete it, because the display settings window doesn't show it.
Please advise.

Open up xfce4-settings-editor, navigate to the displays channel and locate the "both" profile. The property name will be a long string of characters and numbers and the value will be "both". Left click on it to select it then click on the "Reset" button (and Reset to confirm). This will remove the existing entry from the xfconf database and allow you to re-create it.

List is always empty - completely independent whatever I configure or reset the config.
How could I proceed to analyze it?

What version of xfce4-settings do you have?

xfce4-settings 4.18.4-1
Ah nice!
So it will probably be fixed in the next release.
Thank you very much for your (probably voluntary) work!
