Greetings to you!
after login. The xfce session takes about 2 minutes to get ready for use (background with cursor). Where can I check why this is happening?
Over the years, I've come across 3 common reasons:
1) the session manager has problems when restoring a previously "saved" session with opened apps etc.;
2) your system is trying to mount a "network share" (ie via samba) or a "network drive" (ie NAS);
3) either your hardware or software runs into a racing or time-out condition.
Does any of the above make sense given your particular setup?
Cheers, m4a
