Thunar set sorting for "List View"

Thunar->view->list view makes "Arrange items' option disappear (why?).

This is just poor UI design.

Is there a way to set the a default sorting also in the list view?.

Thanks

Re: Thunar set sorting for "List View"

It's not there because it doesn't make sense in list view. For sorting in list view, you have columns in varying categories.

You don't have access to this kind of sorting in icon view, which is why "Arrange items" option is there.

That's still poor UI.

How do I set the default sorting in list view? just click on one of the headers it will remember that from now on?.

Re: Thunar set sorting for "List View"

EDIT: My bad. Yep, for sorting, you just need to click on any of the columns.

Thunar → View menu → Configure Columns…
