Hi everyone,
in the desktop GUI (xfdesktop-settings) in the first tab(Background)
I would like to change the Folder, so I click on folder then Other..
Then I have something like this :
Nice but I can't directly enter the path that I would like
So if for instance if /mydir is permissions denied for desktop but /mydir/wallpaper is accessible I can't reach it with that kind of "menu" is there a way to access (or enter the full path) in desktop in order to gain access to /myfolder/wallpaper ??
Thanks

So I could type the path I wanted
Which permissions should have the dir in order for xfdesktop-settings to have access ?
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root
Doesn't work, strange I was hoping that other get read that would be more than enough.
Thanks.

5₈ (r-x) is enough to list and access files in a directory. Write permissions are required to create and remove files in a directory.
