Eliminate Gravatar

How do I remove Gravatar from my profile? TIA

Edit: I went to Gravatar and disabled it. Still shows here. Might take a while to go into effect.

Thanks Toz. It took a little to go into effect.

That's better. The idea of WordPress knowing when I sign into a forum doesn't sit well.

it's off for me, now, too.  i had a similar reason for turning mine off.  another site did not have a way to turn it, but just to override it.  i overrode it with a static Gravatar.

as for the timing, i wonder how much your browser caching affected that, too.
