Yes it did, I had rebooted the laptop, and it doesn't show it at notification settings > Applications. Neither it shows Timeshift which is default application in Mint, I noticed also today paying attention.

Just tested both apps in Mint 20.3.
Deja-dup does log an entry - its name is org.gnome.DejaDup.
Timeshift does in fact not log. Here is a similar bug report for KDE Connect that needed to be fixed at their end for notification logging to work properly.

The solution is from xfce4-settings-editor > xfce4-notifyd > and reset "known_applications" and "muted applications", which is related with this post,
